We continue to accomplish great things at the Downtown Elementary School.  As I begin my third year as your Principal, I reflect back at our successes and look forward with enthusiasm to new accomplishments.

Our staff, parents, and students continue to work together to maintain and achieve the highest level of education for each and every student.

State budget deficits have made it necessary for our schools to continue to manage money wisely while providing teachers and students with all of the tools necessary for academic achievement.

Our terrific P.T.A. plays a vital role in helping to fill in many financial gaps.  The play structure, shade structure, Camp Keep, 4th grade Mission trip, school Carnival, books for our library, and Young Author’s Fair are only some of the projects funded by our P.T.A.

I am thankful for dedicated involved parents and qualified hard working staff who are devoted to the academic success of all our students.
