Anais asked Brad “How much would a CD cost here?” Brad said, “It would cost
$19.74.” Anais was surprised with the price. Anais said, “I can’t believe
it!” In USA it only cost $15.99. If Anais bought a CD from Ireland and one
in USA, how much would it cost all together?

In the summer time Lisbeth and I went on vacation to Italy and right when
we got there we were hungry. So Lisbeth and I went to McDonalds and bought a
Big Mac but it was $5.82 in Italy and at the USA it cost
$1.89. We had 12
dollars between us. If we bought 2 Big Macs in Italy we would have less
money left over than we would if we bought the same two burgers in USA. How
much less money would we have left over in Italy compared to the USA?

hungry, so we bought a big bag of potato chips. It cost is $3.64.

and I were looking in the newspaper. Suddenly we saw these uniform shorts
that were in Australia for $4.90. So we thought
they are less in Australia than in the USA. Our principal said we had to wear
uniforms or we would have to change cloths. In the USA they are $8.99,
and we only had $25.00 each. We wanted to go to Australia to buy 3
pairs of uniform shorts but we didn’t have enough money for a plane. So how
many pairs of shorts can we get in the USA for

On summer vacation my friends and I went to England and saw an ice cream
store and bought 3 scoops of vanilla, rocky-road, chocolate ice cream.
