	The Purpose of Garza's WWW Site:
	To foster the exchange of information on a global scale To combine resources of the Internet with district curriculum To involve students with creation of resources which are on the Internet To provide positive public relations for the school Garza's Acceptable Use Policy The network is provided for students to conduct research and communicate with others. Access is provided to students who agree to act in a considerate and responsible manner following the guidelines of Garza's Code of Conduct. Access is a privilege, not a right and entails responsibility. The users are expected to follow generally accepted rules of network etiquette. These include (but are not limited to) the following: Be polite. Use appropriate language. You are a representative of our school. Do not reveal personal information. Do not disrupt the use of the network by others. Students will be informed by staff of their rights and responsibilities as users of the district network prior to gaining access to that network, either as individuals or as a member of a class.
