Welcome to Kindergarten
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your child to Kindergarten. This year your child will be learning many new skills.  As a Kindergarten student, your child will be expected to recognize the name and sound of all the letters of the alphabet, read simple one-syllable words, write 2 sentences, and recognize, count, and write the numbers 1-30.

Daily Schedule

11:30- 11:50 - Daily Writing

11:50 - 1:00 - Reading/Language Arts

1:00-1:15 - Recess

1:15-2:00 - Calendar/Language Arts

2:00-2:30 - Mathematics

2:30-3:00 - Social Studies/Science

Upcoming Events

On Friday, March 4, 2005 we will be celebrating Dr. Seuss's Birthday.  The students will be having a read-a-thon.   Please, send a blanket, a pillow, and some our your child's favorite books to school on that day.
