Sierra Middle School is located in Bakersfield, CA.  We are situated in the southern San Joaquin Valley.  Sierra is 100 miles north of Los Angeles and 220 south of San Francisco.  We are one of seven middle/junior schools highs in the Bakersfield City School District.  Bakersfield is a city of 200,000 people and we serve 900 of its young people.
