    Sierra participates in the after school sports program, put on by Bakersfield City School District.  This year Sierra has a flag football and volleyball teams.  The other schools that particiapte are: Chipman Jr. High, Curran Jr. High, Emerson Middle School, Sequioa Middle School, and Stiern Middle School.
