From the Desks of

Maria Perez-Arce, Outreach Consultant,

 and

 Irma Gomez, Community Relations Liaison:

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the parents who participated in the Parent Sessions here at Walter Stiern this 2007-2008 school year.   We look forward to starting up again next year in September with the “STAR/CST” review, “Nutrition,” and “Active Parenting Now in (3).”  If you have not already attended one of the sessions mentioned, Walter Stiern would like to invite you to take part and come meet other parents with the same interests and concerns as you.  If you have any concerns regarding PG&E, food, housing, or behavioral issues with your Walter Stiern student, please call the school and we will provide you with an outside agency contact number that may be able to assist you. If you have any questions please call 631-5480

Congratulations Linda Rendes on being Stiern’s “Parent Volunteer of the Year”

Also:

Parents, the Lost and Found has grown incredibly large!  If your student has lost any articles of clothing or backpack this school year we need you and or your student to come by the office 7:00 AM through 3:00 PM to look through the lost items and take your articles.  The clothes will be donated to Goodwill in the last week of May.

Thank you
