STIERN SOFTBALL TEAM WINS LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!!!!

 The Walter Stiern boy’s softball team is having an excellent season with a record of 6 wins and no loses.  The season started out a little slow, but it only took time, patience and practice for the boys to pull together and become an all-around solid team.  With key wins against Curran, Compton, and Chipman; along with victories against Washington, Emerson, and Sierra, the boys have already clinched the league title.  Having only one game remaining against Sequoia, the boys have won by great defense, good communication, excellent hitting, and overall superior teamwork.  Led by eighth graders Ernie Avila, Kevin Smith, Nathan Sargent, Andrew Apresa, Joe Alvarez, Julio Gonzalez, and seventh grader Fernando Muneton; the Stiern Sharks boy’s softball team has had a great season and have represented their school and classmates well on and off the field.  Coach Swancott and Coach Rodriguez would like to congratulate all of the boys on the team for winning the league championship and would like to thank them for their continuous hard work in the class room, during practice, and in games.  

EL EQUIPO GANO EL CAMPEONATO DE LA LIGA

            El equipo de beisbol de los varones en la Walter Stiern está teniendo una temporada excelente con un récord de 6 victorias y sin derrotas.  La temporada empezo un poco lento, pero solo fue cuestion de tiempo, paciencia, y practica para que los niños se unieran para convertirse en un equipo solido en todos sus aspectos.  Con victorias claves en contra de la Curran, Compton, y Chipman; junto con triunfos contra Washington, Emerson, y Sierra, los niños ya aseguraron el titulo de la liga.  Solamente falta un juego contra la Sequoia, los niños han ganado por su gran defensa, buena comunicación,  excelente batea, y sobre todo el gran trabajo en equipo.  Conducidos por los del octavo grado Ernie Avila, Kevin Smith, Nathan Sargent, Andrew Apresa, Joe Alvarez, Julio Gonzalez, y estudiante del séptimo grado Fernando Muneton; los tiburónes de la Stiern han tenido una temporada fantástica y han representado a su escuela y compañeros muy bien dentro y fuera del campo.  Entrenadores Swancott y Rodriguez quieren felicitar a todos los muchachos del equipo por ganar el campeonato de la liga y agradecer su trabajo continuo dentro de los salones, durante el entrenamiento, y en los juegos.
